1968 第十届格莱美获奖名单
综述：
这一届最大亮点在于猫王和鲍勃迪伦，他们第一次获得格莱美奖，其实已经成名多年，只是一直没有被官方认可，不过鲍勃迪伦在这一届也只获得所谓的安慰奖，最佳唱片封面，猫王也只不过得了最佳福音歌曲奖。
论其原因：一、优秀可能要通过长时间来验证。二、针对迪伦来说他个人的政治观点和反战理念可能会对他当时的发展有影响，也就是官方对于他的认可。三、猫王的扭胯动作和夸张的表演让很多中规中矩的人惊慌失措，所以给猫王一个宗教音乐奖，让他就此改行唱宗教音乐吧！其实猫王这首歌并不算吸引人，如果是抒情的慢歌的话，猫王也有很多，比如love me tender，所以今天的经典记忆我们会补充对比来听这首经典之作。为什么说是大师呢？就因为猫王慢歌、快歌、摇滚、舞曲、抒情唱得都这么出色。
披头士则彻底被格莱美接受，真是不易，最佳专辑和最佳录音两个大奖标志着评委真正意义上接受了摇滚乐。
前几年滚石杂志评选最伟大的摇滚歌手，前三名分别是披头士、鲍勃迪伦和猫王，这一届名单里就囊括了这三甲。

关于：「五度空间合唱团」 ( The Fifth Dimension )
黑人五重唱团体，一共五名成员。
曾经在60年代末期和70年代初期红极一时，现在很少有人知道他们了，也可以说早已过气，但是当年他们所留下的经典作品，却是始终令人难忘的，特别是在美国的广播电视史上，最受欢迎的作品里面就有他们的成名曲「Up, Up and Away」。
1967年五月，公司专属作曲人和编曲人的吉米韦布（Jimmy Webb），在一项博览会上看到了会场上冉冉上升的热气球，引发了创作的灵感，于是写下了「Up, Up and Away」，交给「五度空间」录制，很快的就造成了轰动，也让他们就此成名。 可惜的是，「五度空间」和吉米韦布的缘份并没有维持太久，由于当时也刚刚窜红的葛伦坎伯 (Glen Campbell )成功的唱红了「By The Time I Get To Phoenix」，韦布随即离开，成为葛伦坎伯的最佳拍档。不过，尽管失去了韦布，「五度空间」却由于本身非常的争气，陆续以「Aquarius/Let the Sunshine In」、「Wed-ding Bell Blues」和「One Less Bell to Answer」等名曲在排行榜上创造了更辉煌的成绩。
