BBC报道，对约200名荷兰男性的研究发现，高潮来得太早的人可能与一种控制荷尔蒙血清素的基因有关。有这种基因的男性要比常人早一倍时间射精，血清素的水平决定高潮来临的快慢。研究人员指出原发性早泄者一般反应都比较快，他们比较擅长玩电脑游戏，如《使命召唤》《光晕》CS之类。

参与试验的有89名志愿者是原发性早泄者，即从第一次性接触开始就受此困扰。在一个月内，志愿者的伴侣在每次性生活时都要用秒表计算他们射精开始的时间。

通过和另外92名没有此类疾病的男性对比，发现在早泄男性大脑中控制射精能力区域的神经当中，血清素不太活跃。低活跃性的荷尔蒙意味着神经信号没有按正常方式传送。这一研究反驳了通常的看法，认为原发性早泄者属于心理失调。

几种常见的浏览器内核简介：

Trident：Windows 下的 IE 浏览器使用的内核代号。除 IE 外，众多的 IE Shell（如 Maxthon ）都使用这个内核。

Gecko：Mozilla Firefox 浏览器使用的内核代号。使用 Gecko 内核的浏览器也有不少，如 Netscape 、MozillaSuite/SeaMonkey 等。另外，Mozilla Thunderbird 也使用 Gecko 。

Presto：Opera 浏览器使用的内核代号，这是目前公认网页浏览速度最快的浏览器内核。
