有着前黑旗乐队(Black Flag)鼓手比尔·史蒂文森(Bill Stevenson)的指导，这张《The Sufferer & the Witness》可以说是Rise Against到目前为止最为成熟的一张专辑.
但从整体来看,这张《The Sufferer & the Witness》最大的问题就是歌词内容太空洞,没有内涵.
而这一点也是Rise Against乐队一直都存在的问题之一.
综合来说,《The Sufferer & the Witness》仍算是一张不错的Hardcore Punk专辑.
