来自名厂Drive-Thru旗下的Socratic在05年发行了他们的首张专辑<Lunch For The Sky>.
他们的作品就象他们的名字Socratic(苏格拉底)一样,充满诗情画意.
整张专辑就像是一出迷你摇滚歌剧.
每一首歌都融合了独立EMO和传统摇滚的最佳元素.
Socratic真的给了我很大的惊喜,认识他们还是从一张DVD开始.(Drive-Thru Records DVD VolumeⅣ).
他们让我想起了Pistolita,同样的钢琴革命式的编排,清新另类的独立emo旋律,引起共鸣的嗓音.
不要错过Pistolita,更不要错过Socratic.我喜欢象他们这种前半段安静,后期渐渐升华的创作方式,重复段也很少.
强推!
(P.S: 他们2006年发行的EP已经通过Myspace,Purevolume,iTunes等平台公开免费下载,我这里就不提供了.
另外2月23号我就能看到他们的现场了,咦哈哈~)
