老板从西班牙回来给我们部分管理人员开会,
会议中别的经理主管对我的某个部下的怨言比较多. 后来的意思是考虑换掉他,
虽然那位同事的能力是有待加强..
但是快过年了FIRE员工的事很让我觉得米人情味.... 于是写了封mail给总BOSS:
Dear Johnny,
I wrote this letter personally referring Fisher's problem. Wish you can consider it carefully.
We knew that Fisher caused many problem to the project he followed these days. I learnt on the meeting that he might be fired.
I want to express my personal opinion about it because he is a member of my team.
There comes many problems to his project indeed. Some of the problem showed weak capability of him. Some maybe because of careless or bad luck(since he got a indefinite quotation information from other at the beginning). He is not clear about something because he did not know the history about it/them. It's my fault partially.
Fisher have been working here for more than half a year. But he was trained little. I always want to do the works as quick as possible. So I did not ask him to try to do some training work. As I thought it would quicker to do it myself than waiting for his work...
I send more work to him these days and taught him how to do it perfectly. He seems hard/earnest learning. I believe he can do it better and better. There is no bad student but bad teacher...
We can increase the number of our team to bring everyone more competition. But it's unnecessary to fire him. He became clearer about his work and our project/products than any new worker. We can just train him more to let him progress. I can do more for this.
