小马：“after development of ... ”句子结构不稳。after 40 years' development so, 还是要从整个句子的美感和韵律来看。除了准确之外。 看来真的还是要爱上翻译才好。 事业单位public institutions，最高权力机构highest authority 都可以在dict.cn查到。 另外technical personnel 科技人员，不一定都是professional 所以不能用professional,若scientific and technical personnel那个scientific确实挺奇怪的。不如technical personnel.可以指技术人员，也可以指研究技术的人员。可以指上也可以指下。

Society of Automotive Engineers of China (SAE-China) was found in 1963. China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) was found in May 1987. It is a social organization set up with the approval by the Department of Civil Affairs of People's Republic of China and is located in Beijing. CAAM is a nation-wide industrial organization legally established on the basis of equality and voluntarity, composed of enterprises, non-government institutions and associations engaging in manufacturing of automobiles, moto-cars, parts and components and related industries. 文中的“团体”和“组织”怎么译纠结不已。

另：中文常常说“社会团体和组织”，这个“社会团体”和“组织”似乎是一个东西。 依照1989年国务院颁发的《社会团体管理体制》对“社会团体”的定义是:“社会团体是按照一定目的由群众自愿组成的非蔽利性的群众自治组织
结论：organization 是association的 上位词。association 相对于corporation而言（不具有公司特征）。（不是我原来想的organization 强调结构association强调联合） 中文中“组织”是“社团”的上位词。所以组织译为organization。
社团：是译为association , societies 还是group: Society: An association or company of persons (generally unincorporated) untied together by mutual consent , in orer to deliberate, determine, and act jointly for some commonpurpose. In a wider sense, the community or public; the people in general. 另：法律术语"society": "loss of socciety" society 指 recoverable element in death action under general maritime law, including love, affection, care, attention, companionship, comfort and protection; thus, widow, parent, brother, sister, or child may be compensated for loss of society. Group:单用非法律用语。 所以社团似乎是association比较合适。
另外有 professional association（a group of professionals organized for education, social activity, lobbying and the like; e.g. bar or medical association），似乎很像“行业协会”
那么最后组织都译为organization,“团体、社团、协会”都译为association咯。
