忘了这个剧跟了多久,2年?
今天看完finale,激动,欣慰,悲壮,平静,这些不说,就像又失去一个老朋友.值得翻来覆去几次都看不够的,只有west wing一部.Battlestar这集之后就不会再看,就像生命里的一部分突然就没有了.
至少一部美剧,电视台还会让观众知道续签到哪个season,看看收视率也大概能知道会不会被砍.可预期性已经很强.其他的人和事,能抓住的,太少了.
一辈子里,人和事就这么来来往往,能抓住的是什么呢?能留下来的是什么呢?最后的时候问自己,did I make a dent? did I make a difference? was it worth it? 答案会是什么呢?

24小时看了四集,一个核心的问题是,面对恐怖分子,面对evil,可以在法律之外,人权之外,走多远?
does the result justify the means?
如果是,rule of law如何维护?难道执法者都要像Jack一样,先违法救人,然后再投案自首?
如果不是,真的可以为了保护恐怖分子的人权,而牺牲无辜民众?极左翼的liberal恐怕也不至于昏聩到这种程度吧.

Jack是数次拯救美国的英雄,片子里的Senator都还对他在拯救美国人的过程中用刑逼供外国人强烈的不满.是否可以用刑,是否可以不遵守日内瓦协议,也是08年大选中的核心议题之一.

最近好多剧都没心情跟下去,heroes, private practice , fringe,cold case 甚至NCIS也提不起精神
daily show和colbert report在大选过程中实在是倒了胃口,有挤兑人的,像这样挤兑到死的,也太不厚道
这下好了,总统和两院都被你们自由派拿下了,未来4年/8年,看你们挤兑谁去?
也就剩下desperate housewife,two and half man,PB 还能期待一下

Eureka似乎也只能明年见了?
