Por boy degasser introduction

Usually the poor boy degasser is mud gas separator. This equipment can not be as solids control equipment but it can be treated as the safety equipment to prevent blowout. The poor boy degasser used to get rid of invaded gas among drilling fluids. Such as H2S, etc. Especially when the well drilling is rather deep. There will be much poisonous air, they are easy to burn or blow. We must take some solution to avoid dangerous accident.

During drilling fluid process, the poor boy degasser will be set before shale shaker. The drilling fluids flow through the high pipeline to poor boy degasser and after processing by degasser the drilling mud flow to shale shaker through output. And the gas from the ventline out of degasser go to flare ignition device. Finally the drilling mud will be safe property.

And we can do afterwards drilling fluids process. Poor boy degasser usually used with flare ignition device together. Since after it processing, we must burn out the noxious gases. Then it will be friendly to the environment and make the well drilling job site safety
