CHANGE HAS COME
If there is anyone out there who still doubts that America is a place where all things are possible; who still wonders if the dream of our founders is alive in our time; who still questions the power of our democracy, tonight is your answer.
It's the answer told by lines that stretched around schools and churches in numbers this nation has never seen; by people who waited three hours and four hours, many for the very first time in their lives, because they believed that this ti |

It's been long time coming, But tonight... Change has come to America.----- Barack Obama will write a new chapter in a long story that began in slavery and persecution and has not yet ended in equality. But he is determined that history will remember him as an agent of change, not just as a symbol of it, and that will not be easy. Mr Obama has been a brilliant candidate in many ways - the muscular poetry of his oratory is matched by his flair for the nuts and bolts of campaign organisati |

I was thinking despite my best -laid plans and deepest desires, real life isn't always easy. it isn't a success- only journey for any of us.Going through life can at times feel like going through a wind tunnel. Somtimes life comes at me at a steady breeze, other times it's like a category 5 hurricane. the storms of life may not always have happy endings, but they can at least dealt with and sometimes even put me in a better place on the other side.

I'm trying to organize a meet up in Belgium and we are getting closer to a date and a place.
What about Germany? I have a Eurailpass so I will be mobile. Let me know when and where we could meet between the 3rd and the 15th of November.
I am not sure if I did it right or what it means, but I have managed to put up an event on Facebook. This is for a meetup in Brussels on the 11th of November. I will fill in details as soon as I have them.

After attending the spectacular closing ceremony at the Beijing Olympics and feeling the vibrations from hundreds of Chinese drummers pulsating in my own chest, I was tempted to conclude two things: “Holy mackerel, the energy coming out of this country is unrivaled.” And, two: “We are so cooked. Start teaching your kids Mandarin.”
However, I’ve learned over the years not to over-interpret any two-week event. Olympics don’t cha |

Fire. Moon. Speed. Sky. Gold. Respect.
The Jamaican burned down the track on a crisp, clean, dry night in Beijing with the moon, almost in full bloom, appearing in the sky as if itself wanting to witness the special moment.
Bolt's two record shattering performances in achieving the sprint double are two of my main highlights of these Beijing Games, two memories I undoubtedly share with hundreds of millions of others around the globe.

In the magnificent new stadiums of their capital, in front of their fanatical compatriots, China's Olympians have walloped their American counterparts this past fortnight, capturing 16 more gold medals and ending the global supremacy that US athletes have enjoyed since the collapse of the Soviet Union.
It is an outcome that will only deepen the United States' present funk, with pundits sure to compare China's inexorable rise with America's decline, asking when t |

Unlike China, India doesn't have a clear vision for its role in the world
For three decades, India has craved a nuclear energy deal that would bring prestige and advanced technology. Yet when the coalition government declared this week that it would move ahead with one, it triggered a crisis and a no-confidence motion in Parliament, which it had to scramble to survive.

A Chinese high school teacher who controversially fled a classroom before his students during last month's devastating earthquake has compelled China to amend laws governing teacher-student ethics.
Fan Meizhong, a literature teacher at a private high school in quake-ravaged Dujiangyan in southwest Sichuan province, was branded “Running Fan” by local media and Internet users and later fired after he defended his cowardice in a lengthy online essay.

"There have been numerous reports about what I said in Cannes. I would like to set the record straight about what I feel in my heart and end all of the misunderstandings. Yes, I misspoke. I could not be more regretful of that mistake. It was unintentional. I apologize, those words were never meant to be hurtful to anyone, they were an accident of my distraction and a product of news sensationalism. I am deeply saddened by the pain that this whole situation has cau |
