        思考生活可以有很多种截然不同的态度，反映在音乐里亦然。譬如sToa，走了一个极端，音乐是哲学样的严谨；再譬如Tamas Wells，是另一个极端，灿烂如五月温暖溪流的阳光，清新如拂过铃兰的微风，却同样浸透了对个体生命、对社会、对责任的思考。

       Tamas Wells来自美丽的澳洲，成军于新世纪伊始，用后加入的男主音的名字作乐队名。同其他数不胜数的band一样，他们所利用的也不过就是木吉他，小提琴，钢琴和鼓这有限的几样，但做出来的音乐却具有别样的情味。旋律上是简简单单，波澜不兴却异常流畅优美，偶尔带点儿淡淡的感伤，总体来讲通俗而不媚俗；男主音的声线则清新质朴，暖意十足，又不带丝毫做作矫饰的烟火气。

      与音乐旋律上的轻松婉转形成鲜明对比的是，Tamas Wells许多的歌词内容并不涉及小情小调的卿卿我我，JJYY，而是特立独行的意识流，譬如流传甚广的Valder Fields:

       经乐队解释才知道，原来表现的是对生活的绝望与生活所要承担的责任之间的联系。“有很多次我想在城市广场上，临着喷泉，躺在温暖的混凝土地上睡着，但我不能，因为我会错过工作面试，或者我烦恼还要回到百货商场工作（当然我没有真的在百货商场工作，但我了解一些那里工作的人）”Tamas如是说，
“另一方面，一些人对生活彻底的放弃和失望，但是当他们在发现自己睡在某人门外，或者失声痛哭，说自己仍旧热爱生活，之后会觉得自己又恢复对生活的信心。 ”

      如此凝重的东西也可以这样表达，这就是Tamas Wells的过人之处。
