Two days past eighteen                                                       18岁刚过两天

I got no one to send a letter to                                             他说我甚至无人可以写信
Would you mind if I sent one back here to you                     你是否介意我与你书信交往？

Was a piccolo player in the marching band                        行进乐队的短笛手在默默伤心哭泣
And one name read and nobody really cared                     没有人真正在意那死者姓名
