中国Mansun歌迷自制的杂志<GreyZine>第2期即将于9月8号推出！

2008年9月7日是Mansun的第二张专辑SIX发行十周年，此刊特地为纪念这张伟大的专辑回顾了SIX，包括歌词概览，封面解析，专辑中你绝对想不到的许多秘密！

Paul也将在9月7日SIX十周年之际特地发表一篇文章，讲述SIX制作过程中不为人知的秘密。这篇文章也将连夜翻译排版发布在GreyZine当中。

另外杂志中还包括了Paul为《我爱摇滚乐》前不久刚做的访谈的中英文版，Mansun过去抢烧砸打的“光荣伟绩”以及影响Mansun艺人的介绍包括David Bowie, The Beatles, Dr. Who, The Prinsoner等。

届时会提供各种途径的相关下载，敬请期待！

Im really sorry about dissapearing into a scott walker styley hole, what ive been up to!

我对于自己一段时间因为进行一项scott walker styley hole的工作而消失感到非常抱歉！

I took a break from my project after i realized to do what i wanted to do, i.e. do it all myself without a band as such id have to re-equip my studio "draposound" and ive done some production work to road test it. i did some stuff with catherine anne davies, check her site or myspace and shes got a track called unravel we worked on.

2007年对于我这个Mansun的新歌迷来说，实在太平静，记得刚开始做这个站的第二个月，06年的9月，Paul把Mansun的精选集发了出来，那时候自己都有点儿想笑，这和前不久Libertines发精选一样其实没有多大的意义，在我看来他们发一张精选，还不如发一张B-side合集来的有意义。不管怎样，借着精选集的东风，我也开始“大肆宣传”自己的不起眼的小博客。

Mansun曾经一度真的被人遗忘了。在Paul写的那么多惊世骇俗的歌词里，我唯一不喜欢的，是他们对乐队自身的消极态度，I don‘t care when they are gone！I hope everybody remember their music.

后来集合里，大家热情地参与投票，把Mansun专区建立了起来，我反倒有点儿后怕，心里十分担心它沦落到无人理睬的地步……但万万没想到的是，它爆发了耶（感觉好神奇= =b） 。 虽然在Mansun解散之前就开始接触Mansun的fans来的不多，但是新来的fans爆发力一个比一个强劲，各种各样的历史翻译层出不穷，那些我看着就觉得没劲（表pia我）的老网站的内容也在集合里被换上中文外衣焕发着新的活力。Mansun当然在Oasis，Blur，Suede，Radiohead等这些同时期的前辈乐队（都比Mansun出来得早吧？）面前显得有点儿招架不住，但是在Britpop的鼎盛时期，他们又何尝不被提起？Chad的吉他很有特点，Paul写的转调也十分特别，他们的音乐抓人抓心，纠结……

不管怎么样，2007的最后两个月，Paul给我们回答的那十个问题，以及其中透露出的点点信息，已经让我心跳加速好一阵了。其实，Mansun重组对我来说只是形式上的问题，我要的，最想要的，只是听到Paul Draper的新作而已，至于是他个人，他们乐队，什么形式都不重要。现在的英伦乐团，复古车库大兴，新乐队在老车库中寻找灵感，就好像时光倒退到了那个激情澎湃的70年代。现在的很多新乐队不那么讲究旋律，弹吉他都有点儿僵硬，都像是Party之后的狂欢，瞬间即逝，等到酒醒了，刚才发生了什么事情几乎就忘得一干二净。能来点儿华丽的旋律吗？我心里渴望着……这种时候，我只能又放进Mansun的CD，顺便把80年代的新浪潮全部翻出来听，那种澎湃人心的音乐，也是现在的新乐队没法带给我的。

转眼间，都到2008年了，1998年对我来说还历历在目的时候，十年就已经过去了，这十年里音乐又变化了多少？这十年里，没有哪个伟大的艺人因为死而被媒体和唱片公司追捧神而变相榨干最后一滴血液，相比起1994年那场风波，这十年太平静了？不过，这新世纪的头十年还有两个年头要走，谁知道，这最后的两年，音乐又会发生什么翻天覆地的变化呢？有时候变化只是一瞬间的事情……也许就在今年？

扯得远了点儿，对于音乐我只能聆听，不祈求改变也改变不了什么。只希望看到Paul的新砖尽早问世。以上。
