Dive

If you dive into some wateryou jump in head-first with your arms held straight above your head(跳水)

If you dive, you go under the surface of the sea or a lake, using special breathing equipment(潜水)

If you are dejected, you feel miserable or unhappy, especially because you have just been disappointed by something.

A reef is a long line of rocks or sand, the top of which is just above or just below the surface of the sea.

A riptide is an area of sea where two different currents meet or where the water is extremely deep. Riptides make the water very rough and dangerous.

Gear means clothing

I used to wear trendy gear but it just looked ridiculous.

Swallow

If you swallow something, you cause it to go from your mouth down into your stomach.

If someone swallows a story or a statement, they believe it completely.(轻信)

If you swallow your feelings, you do not express them, although you want to very much.(忍受)

A swallow is a kind of small bird with pointed wings and a forked tail.

Rinse 漂洗 冲洗 染发剂

When you rinse something, you wash it in cleam water in order to remove dirt or soap from it

If you rinse your mouth, you wash it by filling your mouth with water or with a liquid that kills germs, then spitting it out use a toothbrush on your tongue as well, and rinse your mouth frequently.

A hair rinse is a dye whose colour gradually disappears after you have washed your hair a number of times, rather than being permanent.

Rinse your hair thoroughly after shampooing it.

Aloe 芦荟 芦荟叶汁

A tropical plant with thick, prickly leaves that contain a lot of water, the juice of some tyoes if aloe is used in medicine and cosmetics

Dope 毒品

Dope is a drug, usually an illegal drug such as marijuana or cocaine

If someone dopes a person or animal or dopes their food, they put drugs into their food or force them to take drugs.(下毒药)

Storm 怒气冲冲的走开

A storm is a very bad weather, with heavy rain, strong winds, and often thunder and lighting.

If you storm into or out of a place, you enter or leave it quickly and noisily, because you are angry.

Take by storm 袭击,突然攻夺,博取众人的欢心

Hairbrush 毛刷,发刷

A hairbrush is a brush that you use to brush your hair.

If you describe something as crap, you think that it is wrong or of very poor quality

Solid waste that is passed from your bowels

Divvy 分摊,分配

To divide something, especially money into two or more parts

To share something between several people

We can divvy up the profits between us

Concierge 公寓的看门人

A concierge is a person, especially in France, who looks after a block of flats and checks people entering and leaving the building.

Escort 护送 护卫 护送着

If someone is taken somewhere under escort, they are accompanied by guards, either because they have been arrested or because they need to be protected.

An escort is a person who accompanied another person of the opposite sex to a social event, Sometimes people are paid to be escorts(护卫者)

If you escort someone somewhere, you accompany them there, usually in order to make sure that they leave a place or get to their destination. (护送)

Lease

A lease is a legal agreement by which the owner of a building, a piece of land, or something such as a car allows someone else to use it for a period of time in return for money.(出租)

If you lease property or something such as a car from someone of if they lease it to you. They allow you to use it in return for regular payments of money.

New lease of life=new lease on life 有生气的新生活

If you say that someone or something has been given a new lease of life, you are emphasizing that they are much more lively or successful than they have been in the past.

Disoriented 迷惑地,失去方向的

Confused and not understanding what is happening around you

Confused about where you are or which direction you should go

When he emerged into the street, he was completely disoriented.

Git 饭桶,无用的人

If you refer to another person as a git, you mean you dislike them and find them annoying

A stupid or unpleasant man

Nick =steal something

Geezer 怪人,古怪老头

An old man, especially one who is rather strange

Someone who is sane is able to think and behave normally and reasonably, and is not mentally ill.

If you refer to a sane person, action, or system, you mean one that you think is reasonable and sensible.

Showing good judgment; moderate; sensible

Hallucination 幻觉

A hallucination is the experience of seeing something that is not really there because you are ill or have taken a drug.

A hallucination is something that is not real that someone sees because they are ill or have taken a drug.

Dehydration

Loss of water or moisture 失水,脱水

Morgue 无名尸停放所

A morgue is a building or a room in a hospital where dead bodies are kept before they are buried or cremated, or before they are identified or examined.

Cremate 火葬 火化

When someone is cremated, their dead body is burned, usually as part of a funeral service.

At Miss Grabo’s request there was a cremation after a private ceremony

Gurney 轮椅床

A gurney is a long narrow table/bed with wheels used for moving sick people in a hospital

When you unzip something which is fastened by a zip or when it unzips, you open it by pulling open the zip,

Latitude 自由

Latitude is freedom to choose the way in which you do something.

Funeral 葬礼 丧礼 不愉快的事,困难

A funeral is the ceremony that is held when the body of someone who had died is buried or cremated.

If someone says to you ’it’s your funeral,’ they think your decision or your actions will have bad consequences for you, but they are unwilling to interfere.

Hearse 灵车

A hearse is a large car that carried the coffin at a funeral.

Wanker 卑鄙的人

If someone calls a man a wanker, they do not like him and they think he is very stupid or unpleasant.

Crucify 把……钉死在十字架上 折磨

If someone is crucified, they are killed by being tied or nailed to a cross and left to die
