Who Are the Indigo Children?

谁是靛蓝小孩？

The following accounts describe some of the gifted children who are sometimes referred to as “Indigo children” for their reportedly indigo-colored auras. The American mystic Edgar Cayce (1877 - 1945), who could see people’s auras, said that groups of amazing and unusual individuals would begin to incarnate on Earth late in the twentieth century and beyond. He said that they would come to be called Indigo Children.

下面所列举的是一些天赋异禀的儿童，他们有时被称为「靛蓝小孩」（Indigo Children，见附注），因为据称他们拥有靛蓝色的灵气。美国传奇人物爱德加.卡西（Edgar Cayce，1877-1945）能看到人的灵气，他曾经表示，一群群令人惊叹的非凡之士将会在二十世纪后期及其后，开始降生在地球上，他们将会被称为「靛蓝小孩」。

An 8-year-old girl told her mother who is a policewoman that she waited a long time to come to Earth and to have her as a parent. She said that she had a mission. The mother says that the girl seems to be very wise and all-knowing – an “old soul.”

• Akiane, age 10, said that at the age of four she had visions of meeting God and meeting new people. She is inspired by God to draw, to write poems and to share Hiers gift with others. She often draws things without understanding their meaning, such as the pyramid. She said, “I started knowing that this is God; this is totally God. Hes’ helping me with my art; Hes’ helping me with my poetry, my life to live, and other people’s life. Hes’ taking care of me like I was a little butterfly.   I want my art to draw people’s attention to God, and I want my poetry to keep people’s attention on God.” One of her poems says: “The day I was born I met myself. The day I was born I met my young mother. The day I was born I met Christ sleeping in my cradle.”

﹡十岁的艾奇恩（Akiane）说她四岁时曾看到上帝，并遇见一些新奇的人。在上帝的启迪下，她开始作画、写诗，并与他人分享天赋的才能。她常常画一些东西，像是金字塔，但却不了解其中的涵义。她说︰「我开始知道这是上帝，这一切都是上帝，祂帮助我作画，帮助我写诗，帮助我的生活，也帮助别人的生活，祂照顾我，彷佛我是只小小的蝴蝶一般。我想让我的画吸引人们回归上帝，我想让我的诗帮助人们专注于上帝。」她有一首诗写到︰「初生之日，我遇见自己；初生之日，我遇见我年轻的母亲；初生之日，我遇见基督睡在我的摇篮里。」

When Joshua was about 3 he was on a road trip with his father. Suddenly he asked about “Michelangelo,” remembering that “he painted the sky.” Joshua’s father said, “Yes, he did. He painted the sky in big churches and things.” The father asked Joshua, “Why? Did you know him or something?” Joshua said, “Yes, yes, I knew him, he was a good man. That was a long, long time ago.”

• Boriska, a boy from the town of Volzhsky, Russia, can remember and vividly recount his previous existence on the planet Mars. Boriska could speak in clear words and phrases when he was only eight months old. By the age of three, he was telling his parents about the universe. He also began advising others to raise their moral standards. He warned people of coming changes on Earth. Scientists were able to photograph his aura and found it to be the color indigo, which indicates that “he is a happy person with a high I.Q.”

Sandra Sedgbeer, magazine publisher and editor: “The children who are coming in today seem to have more ‘software’ already downloaded in their systems. They are an evolutionary leap; they are showing us where we are going as a species. And I believe that these children come in with more neural abilities connected; these are abilities that we all have, but we’ve lost over the centuries.”

Indigos are here to bridge Heaven and Earth.”

Because of the special abilities Indigo Children possess, they present new challenges to the current school system as well as to their parents in finding the best way to support and guide them. The current system does not seem to have sufficient tools to provide them with an appropriate environment for their needs. Many gifted children are not able to fit into school and are thus labeled with problems like Attention Deficit Disorder or autism. Actually, they are just way ahead. They need more. Besides teaching how to memorize data, many educators have indicated that schools should also teach children about decision-making, eating properly, even growing food and how to meditate. Schools should cultivate ways to draw from the inside of the child, to tap the wisdom that resides there quite naturally.

由于靛蓝小孩拥有特殊能力，如何以最好的方法来协助与引导他们，这对现行的学校系统与他们的父母，俨然已成为新的挑战。现在的系统似乎并没有足够的设备和方法，来提供适当的环境，以满足他们的需要。许多天赋异禀的小孩无法适应学校教育方式，因而被列为问题儿童，像是注意力缺失症（Attention Deficit Disorder）或自闭症（Autism）。事实上，他们只是比一般人先进许多，有更多的需要。除了教育他们如何记忆数据外，许多教育家表示，学校也应该教导儿童如何作决策、如何吃得适当，甚至教导他们种植食物以及如何打坐。学校应该建立一些方法去发掘孩童的内在，开启他们天生潜藏的智慧。

We Are All Indigo Children

Throughout history Indigo Children have always graced this planet, though sometimes perhaps they were labeled differently. Some experts today don’t want to label any children as Indigo: “Since we are all children of God, these are just the people who haven’t forgotten God’s teachings. In the end we’re all the same. We can all do this.” In essence, everyone is an Indigo child because everyone has a special gift. The so-called “Indigo children” have more realization of their ability, while others need more training and spiritual practice to recover their dormant talents. In the grander picture, everyone is evolving as human beings to become better and more God-like.

自古以来，靛蓝小孩就不断地降临并加持地球，有时他们可能被赋予不同的名称。当今有一些专家就不想把任何小孩贴上「靛蓝小孩」的标签︰「因为我们都是上帝的子女，只不过这些小孩依然记得上帝的教理罢了。我们每个人终究都一样，都可以做得到。」就本质上而言，每个人都是靛蓝小孩，因为人人都具有特别的天赋。这些所谓的靛蓝小孩比他人更了解自己的能力，而其它人则需要更多的训练与灵性修持，以重新发掘他们潜在的才能。以宏观的角度来看，每个人都不断地在进化，让自己变得更好，拥有更多上帝的品质。

According to Gary Zukave, “We are in the midst of an unprecedented, huge transformation in human consciousness. And this transformation in human consciousness is reshaping the human experience. It is reshaping it for millions of individuals and in my opinion, within just a few generations, it will have reshaped the entirety of the human experience. And so it is creating children who are being born with this newly expanded perception, and it is expanding the perception of those of us who are already walking upon this Earth…. The greater event is not the appearance of Indigo children, but the birth of an Indigo world.”

* According to Edgar Cayce, “Indigo and violet indicate seekers of all types, people who are searching for a cause or a religious experience.” According to ancient yoga practice, indigo “is the color of the third eye chakra.”

附注：根据爱德加.卡西的说法，「靛蓝与紫色代表各种各样的求道者，他们一心追寻理想或宗教体验」。古代的瑜伽行者则认为，靛蓝「是第三眼能量中心的颜色」。
