缠绕膜也称为拉伸膜、围膜、弹性薄膜或裹包薄膜，具有自粘性，是一种单面或双面有粘性可拉伸并裹紧被包装物品的塑料薄膜，并且自粘胶不会附著在被包装物品的表面，只存在于膜与膜的表面。在包装过程中不需要进行热收缩处理，可以降低包装费用，节省能源，便于集装运输，提高物流效率。同时高透明度也便于识别被包装物品，减少配送错误。
