Manage the Process Router for automatic launch of workflow subscriptions.

Automatic launch of workflow subscriptions can only occur if a Process Router is running on the Content Engine

You can create a workflow subscription using tools available through the Content Engine's Enterprise Manager or through the Application Engine's Workplace.

However, you might consider creating a workflow subscription using the Enterprise Manager to do one of the following tasks:

    Assign a workflow subscription to an individual document, folder, or custom object.

    Set up subscriptions on documents in a test environment.

    Use a custom event action in a workflow subscription.

If you create a custom workflow event action, you must also add the code necessary to launch a workflow.

For example, assume you want to create an event action that launches a workflow and notifies an administrator when trigger events occur. In this case, you would select this option, as well as the script engine you want to use. On the Script tab, you must include the script commands that send the email to the administrator, as well as the Process Engine's entry point commands that launch a workflow.
