I walked along the busiest street until twilight came near. Looked at those people who were meretricious, I lost myself in thinking about several problems. Some designers consider themselves as creators. Those people put Chinese culture and western culture into a huge pan. Heat them. Let them melt. Then wait until they freeze again. The mixture is called “Fashion”. But I call it “Mess”.
You know, it’s easy to put two things together. But it’s seldom proper. Each thing has its own features. Each feature is special.
Some lyrics from Chinese popular songs do contain English words or sentences. They are pronounced by stupid singers in a wrong way. Though the Chinese part may be great, the English pronunciation breaks the success.
I want to tell those fashionable persons:
‘Wake up!! Now it’s time to learn. Now it’s a period which is full of cultures, studies, development and light. Don’t be proud of your sense of fashion. Time will change the direction of fashion. So, be careful to prevent yourselves from falling behind others. Go and study more, pretty people.’
I don’t want to see Chinese popular movie-stars or singers wear clothes that have English rude remarks on them any more. I am not beautiful or clever, but I love studying. I’m proud of my hobby, and it earns great comments and dozens of good friends. I keep respecting different cultures. They are all unique, shining and grand. They built the world and the world is colorful because they do insist. Do you agree with me?
(I wrote this just in a hurry. My English is poor, so maybe there are some mistakes or grammar faults in this passage. If you find them, please tell me. Thank you very much!)
