王六初，工艺美术师（国家级），世界艺术家联合会员，中国工艺美术协会会员，江苏省陶瓷协会会员，宜兴紫砂协会会员，青年陶艺家。七十年代生于江苏宜兴紫砂世家。从小对紫砂耳濡目染，酷爱紫砂艺术。九十年代初进入宜兴丁蜀紫砂工艺厂师承高级工艺美术师葛军学艺，在他的悉心指导下，得紫砂之精妙灵气，所制作品动静有序，追求整体的和谐永隽。为国内外许多收藏家所喜爱。
　　九八年和夫人姜德琼工艺美术师创办“宜兴绿德紫砂”陶坊。所制作品手法细腻，线条流畅，近年来新品层出不穷，多次获得大奖，其中作品《乳香》壶获第四届中国工艺美术大师精品博览会金奖。《松趣壶》获第二界江苏省宜兴陶瓷艺术节大奖作品入编《紫玉金砂》、《壶史》、《世界艺术家》、《壶魂》、《紫砂壶图》等专业书刊。
多年来在继承传统的基础上刻苦钻研，凭着对中华文化的独特理解，已形成了自己的风格。作品传统中见新意，高雅中见清奇，深厚中见秀丽，是当代陶艺家中的佼佼者。对紫砂陶土研究和素器造型有独到之处，善于吸取古典艺术之精华。作品简洁大方，古朴典雅、线条流畅，艺术语言富有深意，散发浓郁的东方艺术特色。
Wang Liuchu, a young Ceramist, was born in a Pottery family located in Yixing City, Jiangsu Province, China in 1968. As the member of the World Artists Association and the National Arts and Crafts' Association, Jiangsu Ceramist Association and Yixing Purple Clay Association as well, for years he follows and under training by Gejun, one of the famous senior Pottery artists in China.
Wang joined Yuxing Dingshu Purple Clay Craft factory at the beginning of 1990’s, when he was young he has been showing great interest in the Pottery Art. Later under mentor Gejun’s strict instruction and training, as well as inspired by the Purple Clay Craft’s spirit, he made a lot of Craft works with vivid but balanced with stillness, which looked like so harmonious-pursuing as a whole that many of his products were collected by many collectors from home and abroad.
In 1998 Wang Liuchu established the “Yixing Liude Purple Cray” Pottery workshop with his wife Jiang Deqiong, a craft artist. In recent years, they have been launched a lot of new products with fine, marvelous as well as fluid style with which they were awarded many times. Among the works one piece “Perfume Milk” was awarded a golden medal in the 4th Chinese Craft Artist Elaborate Works Exhibition. Another piece of works “Funny Pine Pot” was awarded in the 2nd Pottery Craft Gala held in Yixing, Jiangsu Province which already sorted and edited in some professional journals such as “Purple Jade & Golden Clay”, “Pot History”, “The World’s Artists”, “Soul of Pot”, “Graphics of Purple Clay Pot”, etc..
Under several years of hard work and research, combined with his sole in-depth understanding upon Chinese culture, Wang has developed his own style in this field which entails his works tradition but full of innovations, with clear and rare reflecting elegance, flowing pretty stemming from profound polish, of which enables him come into being an outstanding ceramists in the industry.
In addition, Wang Liuchu has his unique advantages on Pottery Clay study, the common vessel patterning by learning from the ancient classic arts, whose works also showing simplicity with good shape, simple but unsophisticated, streamline with clear and fluidity, profundity stemming in his artistic language, featuring a full-bodied art style with orient characteristics.
