later 是副词，表示某段时间之后。例如：

Two days later，she came back．两天后，她回来了。

later on 用作状语，表示不确定、不具体的时间，意为“以后”、“后来”，常位于句末。例如：

I'll tell you all about him later on．有关他的全部情况以后我会告诉你。

first有四个词形：adj. adv. n. pron. 这里主要谈adj.和adv.
first adj. 序数词第一的

adv. 首先

at first是一个介词短语在句中充当状语

一般形容人, 形容人的时候表示内在和外在美的统一, 完美的概念.eg:picture is beautiful

pretty美丽(用于女孩或小孩), 有柔美的意思
pretty boy / pretty girl / pretty woman

nice (天气, 食物, 物品的品质等)
you are nice.你长得不错

lovely可爱的
This is a lovely story.这是一个可爱的
