一进拉萨，阳光就拥抱了我              Upon entering Lhasa,

此时的拉萨河                                 brightening my heart.

已洒满无数个太阳                          Lhasa River was bathed in sunshine,

——腾跃的水浪正把                      its dancing water washing

欢乐的生命洗礼                             the souls of happy lives.

此时的我                                        At this moment,

任灵魂赤裸地躺在                         I bare my soul

宽容的草地上                                on the gracious grasslands,

感激地沐浴着清泉一样的阳光        gratefully basking in the spring-like sunshine.

沐浴，我的智慧在光合作用下         In the sunshine, photosynthesis renders my wisdom

更有多彩的斑斓                             even more colorful.

沐浴，我的勇气也因紫外线的射灼 In the sunshine, ultraviolet rays make my valor

而更多些古铜般颜色                      even more bronze-colored.

沐浴，我的情感在透明的圣洁中      In the sunshine, transparent holiness makes my feelings

更为纯净                                        even more clean.

沐浴，我这脆弱而赤诚的心             In the sunshine, the shadow of melancholy leaves

从此不再留下抑郁的阴影……        my fragile but sincere heart forever. . .

阳光下我不再翻晒心灵的往事        In the sunshine, I shall never again air the old things

流浪的生命                                    from the back of my mind.
