"Zhong Qiu Jie", which is also known as the Mid-Autumn Festival, is celebrated on the 15th day of the 8th month of the lunar calendar. It is a time for family members and loved ones to congregate and enjoy the full moon - an auspicious symbol of abundance, harmony and luck. Adults will usually indulge in fragrant mooncakes of many varieties with a good cup of piping hot Chinese tea, while the little ones run around with their brightly-lit lanterns.
According to Chinese mythology, the earth once had 10 suns circling over it. One day, all 10 suns appeared together, scorching the earth with their heat. The earth was saved when a strong archer, Hou Yi, succeeded in shooting down 9 of the suns. Yi stole the elixir of life to save the people from his tyrannical rule, but his wife, Chang-E drank it. Thus started the legend of the lady in the moon to whom young Chinese girls would pray at the Mid-Autumn Festival.

AuShi was founded 5 years ago. It has expanded its scope of business thanks to the increasing needs of the market and customers, as well as trust and support from the clients.
Jan, 2009 witnessed the name’s official changing its from AuShi Confucius Chinese Training Center to AuShi Language Training School, which exemplified AuShi has embarked on a new road towards offering better and all-round service to our clients.
The updated version of the website
AuShi's official website is being updated in order to offer better service for corporations and individual clients.
The website will be multi-lingual upon completion and will facilitate our customers' ablity to know AuShi better in their mother tongues.
The setting up of the new training office in DEDZ
Thanks to the ever increasing expansions of our school, Dalian AuShi Language Training School Economy Development Zone Training Office was officially set up on 15th, June, 2008.
It is located in the downtown area ---- YiFeng Xian Dai Cheng (Room 1402, Building IV) in the Economy Development Zone, which not only facilitates the students in the Zone to have lessons more easily, but also attracts foreign friends by its outstanding Chinese cultural feature.
