一、首先应区分开 cloth 与 clothes / clothing：cloth表示“布”、“衣料”，是不可数名词。如：
She bought some cloth to make herself a dress. 她买了些布要给自己做一件连衣裙。
表示用作某种特殊用途的布(如：桌布，台布，揩布等)，是可数名词。如：
Clean the windows with a soft cloth. 用块软布擦窗子。

　　一般现在时的时间状语主要有：always, usually, often, sometimes, never, every day, on Sundays, in the morning/afternoon/evening等；现在进行时的时间状语主要有：now, these days, this week, at the moment等，有时句首有"Look!"、"Listen!"或"It's+时刻"等词、句存在。如：

“Say”在英语中是十分常用的单词，我们几乎每天都离不开它，但它与汉语中“说”的意思不完全一致，在许多情况下有其习惯的用法。例如这一段对话：

　　-The new hat looks so funny!
　　-I'll say!

　　大家一定会觉得如果照字面意思去理解，这句话就说不通了。实际上，“I'll say!”表示同意对方的话，可以翻译为“你说的没错！/可不是吗！/那当然！”甚至可以更口语化，翻译为“你别说，还真是的”。

　　表示赞同对方的话的表达方式还有不少，例如“You said it.”或“You can say that again.”

“Sheet”这个词有“表格、清单”的意思，比如“spread sheet”（总分析表，一览表），“balance sheet”（资产负债表），“med sheet”（用药清单）等等。同时我们也常常看到“cheat sheet”和“rap sheet”，这又是什么表格或清单呢？

　　“Cheat sheet”有“cheat”（欺骗），想当然的话，一定会认为它是个贬义词。的确，“cheat sheet”原意有“小抄”的意思，所以字典里的定义是“A piece of paper with information written down on it that an unethical person might create if they weren't prepared for a test.”。
