Article 21. pensioner (n.)---someone who is receiving a pension,especially an old age person (领养老金的人) →pension (n.)---an amount of money paid regularly by a government or company to someone who is officially considered to be too old or too ill to earn money by working(养老金, 退休金) e.g. live on a pension (靠退休金生活) draw one’s pension (领退休金) retire on a pension (领退休金退休) →(v.)---to make sb. leave his job,especially because of old age or illness ,and pay his a pension(给人养老金) →pension sb. off (给人养老金,退休金) e.g. Jean was pensioned off at 55. →pensionable (n.)---giving sb. the right to receive a pension (有领养老金资格的) e.g. a pensionable age
