Chapter 5:Love All Equally
第五章 平等的爱护一切众生
凡是人 fan shi ren
Human being, regardless of nationality, race, or religion
只要是人类，不分国家、不分种族、不分宗教，
皆须爱 jie xu ai
Everone - should be loved equally.
都应该平等的爱护。
天同覆
tian tong fuWe are all sheltered by the same sky and
我们同为一个天空所庇护，
地同载 di tong zai
We all live on the same planet Earth.
我们同住在一个地球。
行高者 xing gao zhe
A person of high ideals and morals
有崇高理想及道德水准的人
名自高 ming zi gao
Is highly respected.
名望自然而然的就会高。
人所重 ren suo zhong
What people value
人们所重视的
非貌高 fei mao gao
Is not based on outside appearance.
并非一个人的外表。
才大者 cai da zhe
A person's outstanding ability
才能出众的人
望自大 wang zi da
Will naturally honor him with a good reputation.
名望自然会大。
人所服 ren suo fu
Admiration from others does not come from
人所服从的
非言大 fei yan da
Boasting or praising oneself.
决对不是因为一个人会说大话。
己有能 ji you neng
If you are a very capable person,
如果你是一个有能力有才干的人，
勿自私 wu zi si
Use your abilities for the benefit of others.
不要把你的能力才干占为私有，要服务于人群。
人所能 ren suo neng
Other people's competence
对别人的才能，
勿轻訾 wu qing zi
Should not be slandered.不要轻易的毁谤。
勿谄富
wu chan fuDo not flatter the rich,
不要谄媚有财富的人，
勿骄贫 wu jiao pin
Or despise the poor.
不要瞧不起贫苦的人。
勿厌故 wu yan gu
Do not ignore old friends, and
不要厌弃旧朋友，
勿喜新 wu xi xin
Take delight in new ones.
而只喜欢新交的朋友。
人不闲 ren bu xian
When a person is busy,
当别人在忙，
勿事搅 wu shi jiao
Do not bother him with matters.
不要用事去打扰他。
人不安 ren bu an
When a person's mind is not at peace,
当别人的心感到不安，
勿话扰
wu hua raoDo not bother him with words.
不要用话去打扰他们。
人有短
ren you duanIf a person has a shortcoming,
别人的缺点短处
切莫揭 qie mo jie
Do not expose it.
决对不要去揭穿。
人有私 ren you si
If a person has a secret,
别人的私事秘密
切莫说 qie mo shuo
Do not tell others.
你不可以说给别人听。
道人善 dao ren shan
Praising the goodness of others
称赞别人的善，
既是善 ji shi shan
Is a good deed in itself.
就是一件善事。
人知之 ren zhi zhi
When people approve of and praise you.
当别人认知你而被你称赞时，
愈思勉
yu si mianYou should feel encouraged and try even harder.
你应该受到勉励而更加精进。
扬人恶 yang ren e
Spreading rumors about the wrongdoings of others,
宣扬别人的过失，
既是恶 ji shi e
Is a wrongdoing in itself.
这种行为就是一个过失。
疾之甚 ji zhi shen
When the harm done has reached the extreme,
当伤害达到了极处，
祸且作 huo qie zuo
Misfortunes will surely follow.
灾祸就跟着降临了。 |
