剧情介绍：
　　比利·鲍伯、西恩·威廉、以及苏珊·萨兰登联袂出演幽默喜剧。本片由克雷格·格莱斯皮执导，讲述的是关于西恩·威廉·斯科特扮演的约翰法利(John Farley)为了阻止苏珊·萨兰登扮演的母亲要嫁给比利·鲍伯·汤顿扮演的伍德考克先生(Mr Woodcock)。这个高中体育老师把整个高中弄成了像地狱一样的地方。

　　年轻有为的超畅销励志作家约翰·法利（西恩·威廉·斯科特），最近又鼓捣出了自己的第二本大作。正在巡回宣传期的他，还不忘抽空回到家乡孝敬孝敬老妈（苏珊·萨兰登）。一切似乎都很顺利：衣锦还乡的小镇名人，仪仗队欢送迎接，美女投怀送抱，甚至连市长大人都将会在过几天举行的年度玉米狂欢节上授予他小镇的最高荣誉！

　　可回到家准备给老妈一个惊喜的约翰，却被老妈的最近“状况”吓得不轻。原来，老妈现在正和约翰初中的体育老师伍德考克先生（比利·鲍勃·桑顿）恋爱，恋情飞速到了谈婚论嫁的地步。说起伍德考克和约翰的恩恩怨怨，那可真是往事不堪回首！想当年，这个粗暴、蛮不讲理的家伙只要一逮到机会就对小约翰和同学实施心灵和身体的双重摧残，其间种种罪行可谓罄竹难书，说是让小孩子们受尽“凌辱”也不为过！因为该死的伍德考克，约翰的整个中学生涯完全成了地狱折磨！

　　年复一年好不容易熬出了头，如今老妈竟然要嫁给这个当初让自己人不像人鬼不像鬼的糟老头！约翰花了20年才好不容易平复了的内心瞬间风起云涌。不行，不能眼睁睁地等着历史重演、恶梦重来，不能眼睁睁地看着老妈跳进火坑，更不能顶着下半生家里供尊活阎王的危险！决心已下的约翰不惜推迟新书宣传期，决定一定要在一切不可挽回之前，证明未来继父正是一个虐待成狂的老怪物！可惜，孙猴子怎么也跳不出如来佛的手掌。约翰绞尽脑汁的全盘计划，全成了让自己难堪无比的笑剧……
